Less than one decade ago the average age of Lindal clients was 64, typically building a second home—a Classic Lindal—on a large remote site with water or mountain views.
Times surely have changed. I could not possibly describe my clients that simply. Meet the most recent Warmmodern Living clients:

Younger clients, more modern designs, and more in-town sites
Our clients have gotten considerably younger as the product has been updated. New pre-planned and custom Lindal designs are becoming increasingly modern without losing their warmth and are ideally suited for smaller in-town (often tear-down) sites that often require custom design for privacy, smaller overall dimensions, wetlands or other constraints.
Less free time for planning, less room for error
The new Lindal planning and design process, enable us to create truly custom homes and price them in just a few weeks, avoiding long traditional process that does not include a well-defined design and price for many many many months.
Lenders are no longer throwing money at consumers, and cost overrides are more challenging. The ability to define cost at a very early stage for custom homes without limiting design flexibility or product options is a unique Lindal benefit.
Individualists all!
Some things have not changed over the last decade. Lindal clients (like most people who build custom homes) are individualists who se vision is to create a home that is uniquely designed for their lifestyle and site. Recognizing that key factor, the enhanced flexibility and predictability of the Lindal building system has no equal.
Lindal Cedar Homes is the oldest and most successful producer of pre-engineered houses in the United States. As you conduct your exploration of the many options available today, you’ll understand why Lindal has earned the position of leader in today’s modern prefab marketplace.
