The Lindal Quick Ship program was introduced a few years ago, and it has become a hit with clients whose preference it is to start with a pre-planned design and personalize it. Less cost, less time, less stress, but no less in keeping with Lindal‘s core values of design flexibility, efficiency and cost predictability.

The original Quick Ship houses maintained the spec of the original custom design, making it a challenge to compare different designs. The designs also maintained the original engineering spec for climatic (wind load, snow load, seismic etc.) requirements, sometimes requiring re-engineering.

Lindal has created a uniform Quick Ship base spec and repriced all Quick Ship designs to that specification, making it easier to compare the nearly thirty popular designs included in the program. The lower priced specification does not alter the post and beam structural skeleton but offers a skin that is energy efficient and low maintenance.

The shape and dimensions of the building envelope still cannot be changed. However, interior layouts can be modified to suit your needs (including moving exterior windows and doors), and you may opt for any of the hundreds of Lindal material options to further personalize your design.

Lindal passes along to clients significant savings in:

Significantly lower drafting and engineering fees on Quick Ship designs, and
An additional 15% discount to all Quick Ship house orders, and
The 15% discount will be applied not only to the base spec materials but also to any upgrade options that you include in your Quick Ship design, and
Lindal will discount 50% of the charge for drafting time to incorporate design modifications or material changes, and
If you sign a purchase agreement for a Lindal Quick Ship kit by December 31, 2023, Lindal locks-in the current material price for one full year, giving you ample time to personalize the design, engage a builder, and obtain permits.

What a sweet way to end the year! The new Quick Ship promotional prices are at 2020 levels, some lower than $100 per square foot and most below $150 per square foot (not including freight and local sales tax). If you are planning to build in 2024, act now!
